Bakery skills are in high demand in bakery and hospitality industry. Additionally, growing number of high end bakery shops have created a fast growing segment catering to modern discerning consumer demanding best in class patisserie goods, and varied products from across the world. At DIBCAS, we offer bakery training courses that fulfill a wide range of needs for industry and bakery businesses. The Hobby Course has been developed in response to the demand for training in advanced practical skills, backed with scientific knowledge in all aspects of bakery and culinary art.

Trainees will qualify with practical skills, hands-on capabilities in making diverse products and international varieties of bakery goods. Program has a practical focus with a strong theoretical, creative and business foundation. Hands-on practical work will be in world class teaching workshops with commercial style equipment and machinery. Faculty with long experience and international exposure will guide trainee in all round skill development.


The Placement Office facilitates the students to explore the world of employment and new career avenues. It would help students in career planning through counseling where in they gather information about themselves in terms of their interests, aptitudes and abilities so that they can choose their career more effectively. The objective of the Placement Office is also on the professional development of the students by training them towards employability skills such as resume building, group discussion and interview skills which in turn helps the students to move into a desired occupation and/or apply in prestigious postgraduate and professional schools. The Placement Office takes the initiative to explore new career avenues for diploma through visits to new companies and unexplored sectors. Campus recruitments are organized every year. The selection process generally starts with a pre-placement talk in which a firm/organization gives the students insights into the company profile, job profile, career path, CTC etc. which is followed by the actual selection process i.e., written test, group discussion, interview etc. The Institute has state-of-the-art facilities that make campus recruitment a pleasant experience. Student placement representatives from each class are also present to provide assistance throughout the selection process.
