Chef Ranit Bhardwaj is a dedicated hospitality academician and industry professional with over 25 years of experience in higher education, complemented by extensive international hospitality exposure. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Hotel Management and holds a Master’s degree in Hotel Management, along with a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
Chef Bhardwaj has gained valuable global industry experience, having worked for 5 years with international cruise lines and 3 years in five-star hotel operations. During his cruise career, he had the prestigious opportunity to be part of the opening team of the world’s largest ship/vessel, gaining exposure to large-scale hospitality operations and international service standards.
In academia, he has been associated with the university system for nearly 14 years, contributing significantly to hospitality education, training, and skill development. He has successfully completed the Training Development Programme conducted by Competitive Edge Consultants and has actively participated in domestic and international Bakery & Pastry workshops, enhancing his expertise in bakery and confectionery arts.
His professional excellence has been recognized through “Above Target” performance ratings for consecutive years. He has also demonstrated strong leadership and event management capabilities, including supervising hospitality arrangements for a gathering of the 150 Field Regiment during the President’s visit.
Adding to his achievements, Chef Bhardwaj was part of a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD accomplishment for creating the largest display of macarons, consisting of 10,859 macarons.
